hey guys! what's up? i'm cobalt, one of the crazy admins here at luminous. i'm a sophomore in high school, and i'm involved in about everything under the sun. marching band, scholastic bowl, math team, art club, thespian (drama) club, key club, science olympiad, and other things such as tutoring and doing my honors homework. my schedule is crazy in the fall, but as winter approaches, i'm free every day except for when i have physical therapy or scholastic bowl practice. i'm pretty excited to be running a site again.
i've been roleplaying for almost five and a half years now and still going strong. all of those five and a half years, i've known and roleplayed with tiger. we're internet bffs and we like to dream about having a slumber party together someday (it's totally going to happen). so yeah, i'm pretty friendly, i have a cat and a dog, and i really like to talk about boiz.
OH, and i like doctor who, sherlock, avatar: the last airbender, korra, tumblr, drawing, writing, art, call of duty, halo, skyrim, assassin's creed, pokemon, gameboys, harvest moon, l.a. noire, and uh... math.
if you have any questions about anything at any time, feel free to PM me or leave a message for me in the cbox.
fanks

Ciao! -gets down on one knee- I can't really afford a nice diamond ring at the moment, will a silver one work for now?
Yay, marching band! I guess us band people can find each other literally anywhere, huh? Does your band do parades, field shows, or both? I'm personally obsessed with field shows and doing really cool body movement and fun stuff, but I've actually started to love parades, too (something that I for sure never thought would happen!). In fact, the BOA Honor Band that is going to lay in the Rose Parade this winter is still accepting applications and auditions! I think I'll audition, but who knows... it would be cool!
Oh, trust me, every stereotype about trumpets does apply, at least to the guys. My section... yikes. I commend you for you putting up with one xD Haha, but I guess they aren't all bad. Just most of the high schoolers. Or like... most band people at my school, sadly D; and CUTE YOU'RE A CLARINET PLAYER OH MY GOODNESS I LOVE YOU. Idon'treallylikeclarinetsbut I think that clarinet players are super awesome and fun so clearly you must be too
Our cast parties apparently have been happening at this one rich family's house for the past twenty years. I went to it last year and was in awe the year before, though, we got stuck at the high school at midnight because it was so icy outside that people fell walking out the door. But that was all cool because there was cherry pie in the choir room and we made pancakes in a Creative Foods room for breakfast! This year, though, we went to some other guy's house, and it was smaller, but a lot more fun. I mean, they had a piano AND a marimba AND a drum set AND some other instrument that for some reason I didn't play with o.o

For this week's football pep band, Palmdaddy (our band director) is letting, nay, encouraging recent alumni to join us, too!
yay college people back for Thanksgiving!
We also share the interest of sitting around doing honors homework. What a blast, right? (you know, until the study guide for ONE CHAPTER of Woman Warrior takes two and a half hours >.>) Plus boiz is a topic I often adore, and a little less often abhor. Merrr guys... On another note, I won't let myself play Skyrim until I'm satisfied with how much I've done in Oblivion, so spoiler alerts are appreciated!

oh! silver! you DO care~!
hahaha, heck yeah! we mainly do field shows (this year we did sort of an au look on james cameron's avatar). the older kids have done parades (we do homecoming and a local festival parade every year) at competition, but this year was going to be my first but they cancelled. figures, lol. i love parades especially this year because i was one of the line leaders. i like it because it gives my ankle a rest from backwards marching. in fact, that's why i'm in physical therapy. i strained both my ankles during marching season and then i first sprained my knee during pregame and then i sprained my ankle at the homecoming dance. i had to stand on sideline for the first competition this year and the last competition i marched on my injured ankle. let's just say concert season came around right in time for my health. LOL
and yeah, doing BOA Honor Band would be so much fun! i'd audition, but i don't have the money or the time to fundraise it - yiiiiikes! i participated in IMEA Honor Band this year which is an auditioned one that's also called All-District. i'm sure you've heard of All-State before; it's just the mini version of that, haha. i also did a local university's non-audition honor band for the second year in a row. BAND IS MY LYFE
oh let's be honest, clarinet players are annoying. xD i don't really know the stereotypes for us, but i'm nerdy and friendly and..idk, just all-around dedicated? only my best friend and section leader is like that. we're twins, basically, and she's first chair and i'm second chair in symphonic band. :U she's a senior and i'm going to be first chair next year aND I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT CREYZ
ohmigod, that sounds awesome! the guy i like is a percussionist and he's on the drum line, man but yeah... we had a ukulele backstage in the cafeteria at the play this year and i played that broken thing with it's three good strings all day and all night. too bad i faked it all. LOL strings are crazy.
that's awesome! i wish our band director would do that! D; my bff that was a senior last year and was also my section leader would sit in between me and my other best friend and we would screw around during the game so much that the little old ladies across the aisle would give us death glares. xD my first chair best friend is like the new MFOBK's meme... ~PLAYS EVERYTHING UP TWO OCTAVES~ hahahaha. i prefer sticking to 2nd part and mixing it up with some first part because we don't rehearse our pep band stuff so i just play whatever i can read the fastest. SIGH PEP BAND.. we haven't had a game yet. =sobs= we only do it for boys' & girls' basketball.
OHMIGOD DON'T GET ME STARTED ON HOW STUPID ENGLISH STUDY GUIDES ARWE SKGHJFLGUJdfogvnhdijgvikGIKFG
we had to read our town and in one act emily says the moonlight is terrible when she's talking to george and then later she says it's wonderful to her dad. nOW wHY WOULD SHE SAY THAT?! in text EXAMPLES PLEASE OK!
what.
no.
GO AWAY, ENGLISH.
=shudders= we just finished the old man and the sea, and we're analyzing it .. no.... =snores= oh, sorry! can't even think of that book. :UUUU
oh jeeze, i would never spoil! i'm more into skyrim for...well...the roleplaying part. i only do the quests that sounds fun. my brother HATES it when i play. xDDD
moor we are bffs now. it has been done.
