AGE twenty-five moons
GENDER tom
RANK warrior
CLAN cloudclan
LOOKSSparkpelt is a rather large tom with broad-shoulders and powerful paws. In a fight, he uses this to his advantage. His underbelly and muzzle are completely white, while the rest of his fur is orange - half the reason for his name. His nose is pink and his whiskers long and white.
Sparkpelt's green eyes show his intelligence and are often the only thing needed to quell an argument. He has a long, thick tail that offers good balance while climbing, hunting or fighting. Sparkpelt's fur is often a little unkempt, however he is never bothered by this and usually laughs off any insults.

OVERALLProud and loyal, Sparkpelt is a determined tom with a moral sense of right and wrong. However, this does not mean he is the kind of tom to sway others' judgement or beliefs, nor tell another cat they are wrong. Sparkpelt strives to understand the views of others before making any decision, so he is sure he has made the right one.
Sparkpelt is intelligent and determined, and above all desires peace for his Clan. He is willing to fight for what he believes in, but prefers there to be as little bloodshed as possible. Sparkpelt is a kind-hearted tom who understands that sometimes he must make difficult choices that will hurt others.
Loyalty to his Clan and to StarClan is what means the most to Sparkpelt - without his loyalty he feels he is nothing. Broken promises or failure to comply with his leader or StarClan's guidance renders Sparkpelt silent and brooding for many days after. Because of this, he carries secret fears that one day his sense of loyalty won't be enough.
Sparkpelt strives to be the best warrior he can be, putting in extra hours of battle training and sharpening his hunting skills. Sparkpelt can hardly wait to have an apprentice who he can pass his knowledge down to. The tom wishes to change his clan through passing on what he has learned during his own lifetime.
He has a strong faith in StarClan and believes that they lead his paws in all things. Sparkpelt never questions them, even when confused or faced with tragedy. Sparkpelt is of the opinion that everything StarClan does it with good reason. The orange-furred tom has a difficult time understanding others who do not share his faith, which can create some problems between himself and loners.
Overall, Sparkpelt is a kind and just tom cat with an overwhelming sense of loyalty and a deep faith in StarClan.
PAST
One New-Leaf, while the sky was bright blue and bird song filled CloudClan's camp, a young orange she-cat named Fallowmask gave birth to a healthy litter of four kits. Her mate, Mouseclaw, had been killed in a border fight with DuskClan only days previous, and Fallowmask, although very sad, was grateful for the four new lives given to her.
There were two kits, a tom named Sparkkit and a she-cat named Gingerkit, who had her orange fur, and two whose dark fur took after Mouseclaw, a she-cat called Dovekit and a tom named Mousekit. Fallowmask secretly felt the most love for Mousekit, since the tom kit looked and grew to act just like his father. For moons the other kits did not notice their mother's favouritism, but there would come a day when it would form a rift between the four siblings.
When Sparkkit was six moons old, alongside his two sisters and brother, he became an apprentice. Delighted with his new name, Sparkpaw, the new apprentice sought to make his mother and his father's memory proud. It was only after the four became apprentices that Fallowmask's love for Mousepaw truly shone through. The other three kits began to obviously resent Mousepaw, going so far as to gang up on him while hunting or during battle training.
Sparkpelt was swayed by his two sisters despite his secret feelings of sympathy for Mousepaw. For moons he fought with himself, trying to find the courage to defend poor Mousepaw. After all, it wasn't his brother's fault that he was so like the Mouseclaw that Fallowmask yearned to have back. But Sparkpaw just couldn't bring himself to do anything that might make Dovepaw and Gingerpaw treat him like they did his brother.
One day, while the apprentices were on a border patrol with their mentors, a DuskClan ambush took them by surprise. Mousepaw was attacked by a fully fledged warrior. His cries for help fell on deaf ears ... Dovepaw and Gingerpaw did nothing to save him, merely watching his death play out before them as if he was not their kin. Sparkpaw was suddenly gripped by an overwhelming sense of loyalty for his ill-fated brother. However, although he managed to wound the warrior quite badly, Mousepaw was dead.
Fallowmask died from grief and Sparkpaw was shunned by his sisters for his attempt at saving Mousepaw. Moons went on with Sparkpaw often woken by dreams of his dead brother and memories of his mother. Gingerpaw became Gingerblaze and Dovepaw was given the warrior name, Doveheart. Sparkpaw fell behind in his training. He was an apprentice for many moons until he was offered a chance at redemption.
DuskClan sent a night raid on the CloudClan camp when the young tom was twelve moons. Sparkpaw, big enough now to be a warrior, saved a she-cat named Minnowflash from the same DuskClan cat who had taken Mousepaw's life so many moons previous. This would prove to be a life-changing event...
For his heroic act, Sparkpaw was finally given his warrior name: Sparkpelt. For the next few moons, Sparkpelt proved his worth as a warrior. He ignored the icy glares from his sisters and focused all his time on learning fighting and hunting techniques. Through his fast gain of knowledge, Sparkpelt soon grew to become a valued Clan member. He also struck up a close friendship with the she-cat whose life he had saved. Sparkpelt and Minnowflash quickly became each others' confidants, speaking with each other about any troubles they had. The orange tom thought things had finally fallen into place. But then DuskClan sent one final attack on CloudClan.
A day in early Green-Leaf would be imprinted onto every CloudClan cat's mind for eternity: DuskClan, their ranks swelled by a number of rogues, poured into the CloudClan camp. Sparkpelt desperately attempted to help the other warriors stem the attack but they were hopelessly outnumbered. At Minnowflash's orders, Sparkpelt and the Clan survivors made good their escape, running south with the scent of their dead Clanmates strong in their noses.
Sparkpelt joined the fleeing cats, but never saw any sign of his sisters. On the long journey toward CloudClan's new territory, Minnowflash began to be called Minnowstar by the frightened Clan in need of hope. Sparkpelt comforted her after the discovery of Stonepaw's death and the two grew even closer. To this day, they are good friends.
After CloudClan discovered their new home alongside ForestClan, Sparkpelt continued holding onto his loyalty to StarClan and to his own clan. He hopes now that CloudClan will be left in peace and that ForestClan can become their allies.
