CAMP living in what looks from a distance like a simple pit of sand amid shallow dunes, cloudclan's new camp is actually protected by a small grove of trees to keep the sea winds from buffeting them. not only that, but tall, tough beach grass surrounds them on all sides and was woven together and into small shrubs to create the dens that this clan lives in. in the center of camp is a sandy clearing. |

BEACH cloudclan's territory is mostly a long stretch of sand gradually being claimed by the sea. the sand is soft and white, scattered generously with driftwood, tufts of beach grass, and stones. though the water is rather rough much of the time, fishing for minnows in the sandy shallows is completely possible, and some even try it for fun rather than prey. GRASSLAND despite the name with which it's known, the grassland is not entirely covered with grass, as it is liberally studded with pine trees and shrubbery as well. more than anything, though, is a carpet of tall beach grass upon rolling dunes. prey is abundant in these lands, along with sandy pathways created by twolegs. however, predators like foxes, coyotes, and dogs are known to roam this land as well. |

CAMP the entrance to this strange camp is a small tunnel, shrouded over with plant life and well hidden to the untrained eye. when entered, a short tunnel quickly sprawls out into a vast, open clearing. there is a small trickling of water down one of the sloping cavern walls, creating a small pool just outside the medicine cat den. there are few stalactites and stalagmites clustered throughout the camp, and light filters in from high above where the ceiling is open. the dens are various short tunnels dug out countless moons ago, and other shelter, for when the weather is unpleasant, is found in the adjacent, small caverns. the camp is an open-top cave, but the cats see it as an opening to starclan. |

FOREST the clan's namesake is vast and sprawling, predominantly made up of pines but small groves of oaks and maples scatter the land as well. The land here is rolling and sloping since beneath all of the soil and leaf-cover there is a generous amount of sand which creates the dunes that the clan lives upon. in the forest the cats do most of their hunting, training, and every day living. after all, it makes up most of their territory. |

ROCKY EXPANSE where the forest ends and the ground gives way from the sandy soil and leaf litter alike, the rocky expanse begins. the land, although more sparse than the forest, still contains some shrubbery, but the rise in altitude causes the temperature to drop and the plants to die off. some of the hardier trees, such as the few pine trees located throughout the forest, become prevalent here. as the terrain becomes more mountainous, the wind also becomes stronger, and the higher areas of the rocky expanse are not safe for warriors and apprentices to wander around alone. |

THE BORDER though the line seems to be in constant movement, this intangible boundary is designed to keep the cats from crossing into one another's hunting grounds. however, as it is in constant dispute it is rare not to see a cat sneaking over the scent-line. |

THE ISLAND this land is where leaders and medicine cats go to find contact with starclan. though it is not easy to access, as one must precariously pick one's way over feeble stepping stones in order to reach the shore of this pine tree-studded patch of rocky land that juts out of the see, once there they must slumber in the small clearing at the center of the island to meet with their warrior ancestors. |

THE TOWN just north of the territories, past a short stretch of dunes, lies the town. in the summer is is bustling with tourist activity, but for the rest of the year the twolegplace seems to hibernate and the humans do not tend to bother the cats. in this place many kittypets and loners roam. |

NEUTRAL this expanse of land includes all that is not claimed by clan cats. touching bits of the beach and swarming the plains and forest as well, this land is where most loners and rogues can be found wandering. |

LIMESTONE TUNNELS when cats of cruelty or extreme cowardice pass on they may end up lost in these endless tunnels with no hope of finding a way out as the only way to pay for their crimes. with an eerie light of no particular source being emitted at all times, these tunnels are none too friendly, and one can never be too sure who one will run into around the next corner. |
