assuming you are familiar with the warriors books, you'll understand most of the portions of the biography form, but just in case here is a short walkthrough:
NAME at the top of the biography for aethstetic purposes, the name is fairly straightforward. just replace the word 'name' with your character's name. for clan cats there is a prefix and a suffix. the prefix is given at birth and often represents a physical attribute of the kit, although there may be some special circumstances. the suffix depends on the cat's rank in the clan. for kits: -kit, apprentices: -paw, for leaders: -star, and for warriors, medicine cats, and deputies the suffix will, like the prefix, represent some quality of the cat physical or otherwise. for example, a warrior may be named 'mousenose' for their mousey-brown pelt and keen ability for tracking.
REASON FOR NAME beneath the name you will replace the words 'reason for name goes here' with the explanation for your character's name. the example used above could also apply here. for mousenose's biography, you might put "mouse- for brown pelt, -nose for tracking skills." remember to keep it short and to the point- this section is only in the biography to make sure all names make sense for a warrior. while we aren't a strictly traditional naming roleplay, we do appreciate logical names!
PICTURE the img tags are for placing a picture of your cat. while we are fond of pictures, if you do not have one simply delete the image tags and move on to the next section. if you do have a picture, make sure it does not stretch the board. if it is very large, please ask a staff member to resize it for you!
AGE please enter your character's age in moons, which translates to months. kits will range from 0 to 6 moons, apprentices from 6 to approximately 12 to 15 moons depending on how their training is going, warriors and queens from 12 to approximately 60 to 90 moons depending on their health, medicine cats from 14 to 70+ moons depending on similar circumstances, deputies from 27 to 60+ moons depending on similar circumstances, and leaders from approximately 27 to 60 to 90 moons depending on similar circumstances. clanless cats may be any age, and exceptions can usually be made for any rank.
GENDER typically male (called a tom) or female (called a she-cat), although some cats may claim to be neither, both, or anything in between.
RANK kits (kittens), apprentices (warriors or medicine cats in training), warriors (cats who hunt for and defend the clan), queens (pregnant or nursing she-cats, or she-cats who chose to care for other queens and kits permanently), medicine cats (learn herbs and starclan lore to help the clan and interpret prophecies), deputies (organize patrols and look over clan, advise leader), leader (runs the clan and recieves nine lives from starclan), or elders (cats who have retired and are cared for by their clanmates- relied on for stories of the past or starclan).
CLAN while a backstory of each clan can be found [insert]here, beachclan is a newer clan, although they have been around for many moons they have mysteriously turned up on forestclan's land and are new to the terrain. forestclan, meanwhile, has been in the same location for ages. there are also kittypets, loners, and a rogues who belong to no clan.
LOOKS be sure to include all the details of your character's appearance including how their eyes look, their pelt, and their build. if you have a picture for them then feel free to leave just a sentence or two here.
LIKES what is your character fond of? it could range from rainfall to flirting to the taste of vole. feel free to include as few or as many as you think describes your character best.
DISLIKE similar to the above- what doesn't your character like too much? spiders? toms? include as many as you think fits.
FEARS everyone has at least one thing they are afraid of! include a few fears here.
HOPES surely everyone aspires to be something! from growing up to lead the clan to finally being recognized as a sort of decent hunter, anything goes: put a couple here.
OVERALL this is where the rest of your character's personality will go. include how they act around clanmates, strangers, and friends. include any quirks or traits that seem important about them. don't let your characters get too boring! include prominent flaws and prominent strong points. keep your cats interesting.
PAST from the cat's lineage and kithood to their present age, include all the details that seem important, or lead to how the cat developed into who they are presently. kits do not need a past entered here.
