[/b][/size]silver - primary pelt color is silver/gray

AGE 24 moons
GENDER she-cat
RANK warrior
CLAN Forestclan
LOOKS thepelt;; Silverspots has a base coat color of a light gray, or silver, color. She has markings similar to a tabby, with a 'M' on her forehead along with stripes on the top of her head, on her legs, and around her tail. All down both of her sides there are small spots of gray. She has a dark gray nose with a splash of pink in the middle. The fur around her mouth and going down into her chest is such a light silver that it almost appears to be white. This silver-white color continues all the way down her stomach. All of her feet are also a very light silver, starting at the ankles on all four paws.
thebuild;; For the most part, Silverspots has the average build of a cat, somewhat on the smaller side but by no means small. Her legs are a little short, but nothing that causes any sort of problem. Her tail is also a little shorter than she'd like, but nothing noticeable to anyone but her. Her face is very close to being flat, with her mouth only coming out a little bit away from her cheeks. While she doesn't have a wide mouth, her mouth does not appear to be narrow because of how close it stays to the rest of her face.
the eyes;; A dazzling emerald green color, her eyes are one captivating feature. When she shows them. Along with the color, the rim around her eye appears even more black than that of a cat with a different pelt color. This outlines her eyes, a feature she favors. She has very round eyes, although they still have definite corners.
LIKES water (playing in the rain, in puddles, etc.), hunting, thinking, listening and helping others
DISLIKES being yelled at, being critisized, mud, catching/eating birds, bugs of all kinds
FEARS messing up, not meeting the expectations of other cats, never finding love
HOPES raise her self confidence, being a good warrior, finding herself
OVERALL the confidence;; Or lack thereof. Silverspots has very serious self confidence problems. While she knows that she doesn't fail her clan-mates on a daily basis, she always feels that there is more she could do. That she could have caught more prey, or helped collect herbs, or do something that could have helped her clan-mates somehow on that day. She's always volunteering to do things, even things she doesn't like. To most this comes across as her just being an eager warrior, although it really is a way of her attempting to prove her worth to her clan mates and more importantly, to herself.
forgiving;; A grudge is something that Silverspots doesn't know the meaning of. No matter what another cat does to her, she will always forgive them. She might think differently of them and have a different relationship with them, but she will forgive them. She finds that it takes too much energy to stay mad at somebody and she just doesn't see the point in staying mad at someone. She prefers to just let things go, although don't let it fool you into thinking she's forgotten about it. She forgives but she doesn't forget, and it shouldn't be surprising if she brings it up if she fights with you at a later time.
quiet;; Quiet but not shy. Always remember that when it comes to Silverspots. She may be quiet and listen to the cats around her, but she will not hesitate to talk to any cat if she thinks that they need it and she can help. She doesn't like to lead the conversation; she can, and she will sometimes when something is really bothering her or when she would prefer speaking to awkward silence. But generally she prefers to listen to other cats. Unlike some cats, she doesn't stay quiet because she's thinking over what to say or making some grand plan or anything like that. She really just likes to listen to other cats. She will always be a good cat to turn to when someone just needs to vent or complain.
intelligent;; Another good word to describe Silverspots' intelligence might be observant. While she is a bright cat, she has a talent at reading the body language of other cats. She tries her best to pay attention to what's going on in the clan between cats so that she can properly interpret interactions and understand where a cat is coming from. Sometimes when she asks questions about a cat's past, it comes across as too invading. So even though she knows it helps her understand the cat better, she never makes a cat answer her questions and always makes it clear that it's optional. She tries her best to adapt to each different cat when she talks to them or they talk to her so she responds in a good way for the cat in question.
other smaller traits:
- easily lost: she memorized the territory. directions are meaningless to her
- relaxed exterior: on the inside, she could be freaking out.
- understanding: she is fairly good at putting herself in other cats' shoes. well, paws.
PAST Silverspots was born to the queen Quivertail two leaf-bares ago. She was dubbed Silverkit. She had two brothers. The first was Spottedkit, named because he had spots down his sides similar to Silverkit, but he was a light brown color instead of silver. The second was Spiderkit, named for his long legs and tail. He was also a silver color, but had their mother's tabby stripes in a dark gray color. Their father, Swirlclaw, came to see them when they were young. Swirlclaw and Quivertail were madly in love, and as such were not enjoying that Quivertail was stuck in the nursery.
By the time the kittens were one moon old, Quivertail was itching to get out for a bit. So she went out hunting with her beloved mate. She wasn't out long, but with her immune system down after giving birth, and as leaf-bare had by then fully started, she caught white cough. She didn't worry about it, thinking that she would just be in the nursery and getting plenty of rest so she'd be fine. Which was true, she quickly got over the illness and was healthy once again. However, her kits were not.
As soon as Quivertail noticed that Spiderkit was coughing, she took him to the medicine cat. Spiderkit had caught white cough from Quivertail. Quivertail then made sure to keep a very good eye on Spottedkit and Silverkit to watch out for symptoms. Sure enough, Spottedkit soon began coughing as well. With two kits now in the medicine cat den, Quivertail began spending more and more of her time there instead of in the nursery with Silverkit. Unfortunately, both of Silverkit's brothers became worse instead of better, and developed green cough.
Spottedkit and Spiderkit were just too young to fight off such a serious infection. They died within a few days of each other, living to be only around two moons. Quivertail was filled with grief at the loss of her two kits, as well as guilt over their deaths. She blamed herself for carrying white cough into the nursery in the first place. After her two boys died, Quivertail started staying in the nursery again with Silverkit. She tried her best to be a good mom to Silverkit, but Quivertail was just too depressed and unhappy, and would often snap at Silverkit for various things. Silverkit didn't understand, so she started becoming more and more distant from her mother and spending more time with the other kits in the nursery.
Swirlclaw would play with Silverkit often though. This caused her to develop into a daddy's girl, which led to more problems as she became older. But it made Silverkit happy.
OTHER
parents names: Quivertail is named because she was quivering when she was born, as though full of energy, and her tail quivers when she gets really excited or nervous. Swirlclaw is named for the pattern on his pelt, which looks as though the lighter and darker gray swirl around each other, and claw because he's a very good fighter. And also, I think it's unlikely that two kits would die of white cough, but they are only like a month old. A four week old kitten is pretty susceptible to sickness I think.
