Fawnstep
She looked more like she had light brown than gray and black so her mother named her Fawnkit. The step part came in during her assessments cause she was so focused on each step she took so while hunting, since she was struggling with that, so she could become a warrior soon.

AGE 24 moons
GENDER She-cat
RANK Warrior
CLAN ForestClan
LOOKS
Her coat is a medium length, silky and as smooth as a forest cat can get but it's obviously dirtied after pouncing through the brush all afternoon. She is a small, slender light calico she-cat with bright blue eyes.
LIKES Going on walks with friends, joking around, practicing fighting, napping in the sun.
DISLIKES Foxes, rude cats, dogs, having to sit out in the rain.
FEARS Dying, losing the ones she loves, falling behind.
HOPES She hopes to be the best she can be, a secret part of her wants to one day be able to outdo everyone but she would never actually say that. One day she might hope to have kits of her own but for now she all she wants is to serve her Clan and maybe secretly one day have some recognition for that.
OVERALL
Fawnstep by far looks like she is just a quiet little cat who can't speak up but she is in fact the opposite of that. She is a very outspoken young she-cat, but she bides her time, pinning the best place and time to say the critical things. By no means does Fawnstep pretend to know everything, she realizes how young she is and addresses that she has much more to learn. At the same time she does not pretend to be an idiot for any cat, she knows her knowledge is vast enough to get her by and then some. That being said, she is not a stick in the mud either. Fawnstep loves joking around and goofing off with her friends, sometimes others may not understand but she holds friendship in the highest regard. But she also holds herself up there. As selfish as that sounds it's true because she strives for freedom. Freedom from everything just so she can run through the forest, so she can feel the wind on her pelt and not care what scent is there; not because of any oppressing factors, no she feels fine. She is as wild as a rose and as grounded as a weed.
Her love goes far and wide to just about everyone she knows. She loves little kits, though sometimes she doesn't understand them nor knows how to deal with them, nontheless she loves them regardless. All of her Clan is her life in the way she feels for the bond that is there when you decide to honor the warrior ancestors and defend and cherish the Clan you are in. Along with all her love she does have anger. Though she tries very hard not to hate others it rises out of her a good bit. She believes that when you hate another that hatred ruins your life because you want them to fail and be hurt but you only see them happy and that hurts you. Very often she tries very hard to just "dislike" someone very much. She is also prone to anger or frustration very quickly at times, for under such a soft face can also be the poisonous bite of a viper.
PAST
Fawnstep was born in ForestClan camp to her mother Rabbitclaw, a warm and loving she-cat but also the quickest she knew to anger than others. Along side her was her brother Nightkit, a bouncy little kit who fought with her constantly. For a while they had no idea who their father was but after much time the conspiracy was brought forth through rumors and one truth. Their father was none other than the rogue tom Silvertalon. Now, Fawnkit was the one who looked happy all over as if all of the taunts and jives at her didn't bother her but inside she was hateful. Inside she wanted the lot of them to disappear into Silverpelt and never return but she kept it deep inside her. Her brother on the other hand kept his head down and seldom looked up, he would wale alone and he looked as if he hated the world but he wanted to help and love everyone no matter what.
As they grew older and became apprentices the pair hit a point where they absolutely hated one another. They would attack each other and find ways to make the other mad or upset, but they came out of this little phase with barely a scratch. When they were apprentices the two did like to visit their father at the border or at a neutral place and they did love him, he was their own father. He convinced them that their mother had done terrible things to harm them and very often tried to persuade them to come with him. It almost worked but Rabbitclaw learned about this and was furious. She threatened her old mate heavily and kept a close watch on the two, but she never told a soul, hoping not to bring her children into anymore chaos than she already had. As they neared the end of their apprenticeship Fawnpaw became less angry inside but a little snippy on the outside and Nightpaw became more angry all over at everyone.
Now Fawnpaw kept all her promises and one evening Nightpaw told her of his plan to leave ForestClan and confront their mother on what Silvertalon had said many moons ago. The two were inseparable now so naturally she told him she thought this was a bit pointless because their mother wasn't bad, she was strict, but she was a loving mother and warrior; she also pointed out that their younger brother (of two months, whom Rabbitclaw obviously had with another tom) Oakkit was getting stronger and the last thing he needed was how his brother abandoned the camp for something that was said long ago. Nightpaw said he understood but insisted that he had to leave with their father. She could not try to convince him anymore for his mind was already made up. All she did was advice him not to be angry when he talks to their mother and to stay calm through all this. When he agreed he told her not to tell a soul so her lips were sealed, waiting anxiously for the day everything would fall apart. He did not heed her and instead made a scene in front of the whole Clan when Rabbitclaw emerged from the medicine cats den. Nightpaw began throwing stories at her, saying things about her that were not only embarrassing but hurtful. He never batted an eye but instead told her he was leaving, not being able to live among liars even through her crying and turmoil. Her brother was then cast out but when the leader was about to call on the deputy to walk him to the border where Silvertalon waited Fawnpaw spoke up and asked to take him instead. They didn't say much as they walked, she was too upset to speak that much to her brother who had left because of things said so long ago no one should care. She told him she loved him as she got there but turned and walked back with her head falsely high and her eyes straight ahead. Fawnpaw would not look back, not now. He would always be her best friend but she could not say much more to him, she had to just let go. When she arrived back at camp everyone was surprised by her return. They all believed she would go with him, thinking her to be gullible. This made her angry and for practically the next two moons she showed her anger and frustration to all of them.
Many times she would see her brother at the border and they would talk when alone. And her anger and frustration subsided and she grew as a she-cat, learning more to take care of other and care for others more than she would herself. She became an extremely hard worker, a furious fighter and an agile hunter, always striving for more through her mistakes. Fawnpaw and Rabbitclaw became as close as mother and daughter could become and Oakkit grew to admire his sister and mimic her. Her life was good and full of love and life but not all would be well forever. Frustrated that his other child did not follow Silvertalon began to ask over and over for Fawnpaw to accompany him and live with him where she "belonged". He thought that she belonged in his new formed group of rogues he called a "Clan". That did not bother her since she simply would always say no, but there was one thing that she forgave in the future but will never forget.
After she became a warrior Fawnstep saw that something about her brother Nightshade (Silvertalon named her brother) was different. He was less focused and angrier than usual, acting like his move was a mistake but hiding it under each talk. Their biggest change did not come until he told their father's little pack that she was coming everyday to the border and waiting for him so that she could bring him back to ForestClan. On a hunting patrol she left her friends to venture off toward the scent of a mouse. As she crept forward she could taste the sweet aroma on her tongue and just she the plump little mouse nibbling on a seed in the undergrowth. She crouched down immediately, her tail hovering over the forest floor and her ears twitching with anticipation. As the mouse looked up she pounced and bite it on the neck, leaving it hanging their in her jaws. That's when she saw Nightshade on the other side of the border looking on at her. She hopped over and laid her prey down at her feet, "Hello Brother," she smiled, "How-"
She was interrupted by the rustling of bushes on the other side. Rogues emerged, looking menacing and vile. Oh no, she thought anxiously, We're in trouble now. No doubt they wouldn't like ForestClan and Silvertalon's group mingling. She also kicked herself inside for being so distracted by the mouse and her brother that she did not catch them their. They looked on at her and one stepped forward by Nightshade and hissed, "I see it is true, you have been trying to lure him back into ForestClan," at once the tom looked down passed Fawnstep's confused face, "And you brought him prey?! Well well, looks like we're going to have to teach you a lesson."
Fawnstep could barely get a word in as she tried to explain to these rogues that she was simply hunting and saw him sitting there. They refused to believe her and these "vigilantes" stepped forward, fur bristling over the border and at that point she knew she had to defend her land, even from her own brother. She pinned her ears back and hissed in furry at the tom who approached her, knowing greatly what danger she was in. Fawnstep was outnumbered, five to one and as much as she'd like to be she wasn't that strong of a rogue to take on five rogues. Her eyes were focused on one but well aware of those who circled her. She pounced at him but slipped to the slide, messing up his tactics for just a moment. Claws blazing she stuck them in his side for a juicy loud yowl that she was sure someone had to hear. It felt like a century she battled with him, no escape, cuts all over her body when her friends burst from the brush blazing with anger. They fought hard, a couple scattered and the fight was wearing thin when the large tom whom Fawnstep was desperately fighting called back, "What are you doing just standing there? You come and tell us of how this thing offers you to come home but you cannot fight?" The tom growled even more as he ran across the border, "If you do not fight her now you may join your ancestors forever."
Her eyes were wide as Nightshade stepped over the boundary and into ForestClan territory. It was not that he was about to fight her that hurt but that he would lie and betray her. She had lost her best friend in the world in that moment and she knew she would not have him back. As they circled each other she processed what was really happening. Just her and Nightshade on the battlefield facing each other, brother and sister about to shed each other's blood for a boldfaced lie. Her eyes dimmed in care and she could hear her heart beating steady as a drum as she became cold and humorless. One of her fellow warriors tried to step forward seeing as this was not a fair fight since Fawnstep was so beat up and Nightshade had not put a claw in once. Fawnstep flicked her tail quickly and in a low hiss she spoke, "This is my fight."
It began as he lunged forward, reaching for her neck with his claws. There was sadness in his eyes but none in her's as she rolled to the side and swiped at his belly. She couldn't bare the thought that her own brother, though not in ForestClan would lie simply to lie. Her eyes were cold as she pounced forward only to be knocked over by him. They fought for what seemed like ages, she was bloody and worn and he was breathing heavy but she would not quit. He betrayed her trust, now he had to pay for what he had done. She let him bowl her over just so she could slide out. Through being hurt and cut she arose and as he spun around to look at her she reached out her claws and swatted him across the face, leaving blood trickling down his face. Nightshade surprised backed away to where he came from and just starred at his sister. Fawnstep looked on, worn but still fighting, "I hope that leaves a scar," she said as if it were a threat, "You traitorous liar."
As news reached camp of this Fawnstep and her friends were met with mixed feelings. First by the medicine cat to clean their wounds and then by the leader and the rest of the Clan. He asked of her actions and Fawnstep told the story and admitted that she had talked to her brother on occasion but only when seeing him near the border. She was punished for that but nothing she couldn't bare since no one really hated her for missing her brother, but nothing could prepare her for what happened next. Through the next few moons she was harassed by Silvertalon and his closest family and his little group for events that had passed. Any occasion they had they confronted her and tormented her over the littlest thing. It was hard but she pushed the idiocy with the help of her family and friends. Everything has hardened her but in that sense made her stronger, stronger to love, fight, forgive, but she will never forget.
OTHER I know the cat in the picture doesn't have blue eyes, but I couldn't find a picture of a calico cat with blue eyes that I liked for her.
