AGE Twenty three moons
GENDER She-cat
RANK Loner
LOOKS Cassy is a cat who you wouldn’t expect to be outside. A show worth Oriental Longhair, she doesn’t exactly look like the other cats. She has the flat face and oddly alien body of a modern Siamese, though it's not as extreme as those who are better bred. As is to be expected of a stray, she's thin, and the rather pretty fur on her tail tends to be tangled something fiercely. Her eyes are bright blue in color, constantly wide and giving her an owlish appearance.
LIKES Books!!!, snarking, trying her very best to be tricky and clever.
DISLIKES Rats eating her books, any other cat trying to live in her store without her approval.
FEARS That the books will just waste away, that she’ll just waste away, or that someone will come take back the bookshop, but it won’t be her owner.
HOPES People will return to the bookstore, her owner will return, and that rats keep trying to eat the books so she can eat them.
OVERALL Cassiopeia is not a woman to be trifled with. She’s not big and strong, no, but she’s vindictive and clever, willing to go to dangerous lengths to get her revenge. If it's in her ability to do, she'll do it- after weighing the costs and benefits first, of course. Vengeful as she is, Cassy isn't a stupid cat; she knows that rash action could cause serious issues, especially when there are much stronger things than her out there.
So she prefers to wait, as painful as it is for her to do such. The feline'd rather wait for the opportune moment to push something on an unsuspecting enemy than jump out, claws bared. Direct fighting is most certainly not her forte; she's more of a tactician (or, as much as a cat can be), suited to plans and sabotage than being on the front lines.
Her cleverness, combined with her pessimism, has created quite the suspicious streak. Cassiopeia will not trust others until they give her a very, very good reason to. She won't be the first to let her guard down under any circumstance. That's dangerous, and she knows it. She knows it a bit too well, though, as it leaves her cautious of interaction in general.
Not being around others doesn't really bother her, though. Cassy is far from a social animal, content to curl up in her store and waste away the days dusting off bookshelves with her tail and hunting down vermin who aim to transform her precious books into nests.
